In horse racing is an Open Maiden race equal in class to a Clm 50K - 62K?

In horse racing, the term Open, indicates that the race is open to both colts and fillies. Open has no bearing on the class of the race. Most trainers won't race fillies against colts. Claiming prices indicate the class of the race. MSW indicates a maiden special weight, and would indicate the highest class of horses, being higher than any claiming price races.|||It really depends on the track.
