Basically, my computer isn't the fastest, and my graphics card is awful, but i figure it'd be cheaper to buy the parts, rather than buying a new Computer. Here's my specs:

Those are from Speccy. Any help is much appreciated :)|||id say start with a couple more gigs of ram and a video card with at least 1 gig of ddr3 video ram|||Its a pretty old setup you have there.
Your Ram speed is scary slow. You can't buy extra ram. You really need to buy totally new ram to replace what you have there.
Use Crucial Ram scanner to find out the maximum speed your motherboard supports
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
Your graphics card i never even knew they sold it for a few years now. So your grphics card needs a complete replacement. Your going to need to check out your motherboard. Does it support PCI Express or not. I have a doubt if its still using an AGP slot since it has a 6120.
If it uses the AGP Slot just donate your computer to a museum there it self. Its time to put it out to pasture Im dead serious. You can't even buy the parts for that motherboard at reasonable prices anymore. The same cost of getting parts to support that suspected wreck [if its using AGP] you could get decent good parts.
Anyway look through the settings again, and post back.
Til then i suggest checking out

an start considering making your self your own custom machine to fit your budget.|||Get another couple of gigs of RAM and an HD 6850 w/ a deent 500W PSU and you'd be able to play Skyrim. Do note, however, that you will be bottlenecked by that CPU and so if you're also willing to upgrade that, get at least an i3-2120, an Asrock H61M U3S3 motherboard, and 2x2GB DDR3-1333 RAM.
If you have the money, just get a new PC.|||128MB GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 (HP)
That is your main problem right there upgrade to an NVidia GTX 460 and you will see a massive improvement.
2.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 Add at least another 2GB to this preferably 4Gb.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Upgrade to a higher specced Athlon 2 or Phenom 2
MS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit upgrade to 64 bit Windows 7 if you want to add any more than 2Gb of DDR2 and have a high memory graphics card (Remember a 32 bit system can only recognise up to 4Gb of RAM, including graphics memory!)
Upgrade your PSU to around 800 watts to power it all, or risk blowing it up!|||I would start with upgrading the RAM to atleast 4GB, also the graphics card as that is very old, I would suggest 1GB of RAM for your graphics card.|||if you want to see a full list of required upgrades to play this game, visit the link below and select The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim from the list, run the scan and prepare to weep at the results!|||well you already know your VGA card is not up to much, your board has PCiE slots so any VGA card that is PCi Express will fit. Stick to GDDR5 as the memory on the card and you will get a far better card than a cheap one with DDR3.
Skyrim requires a minimum GTX260 card to play at the higher settings and ideally you need something better than that to play on the higher settings.
The GTX560Ti is a great card, at 拢150 -ish it is not the cheapest and will require a decent 500w (or better) PSU to run it from. Slightly less powerful is the HD6850 but better priced at around 拢110 and these are maybe your best options.
You will need more RAM too, 2Gb is not sufficient to play on the higher settings and expect everything to run smoothly.
As to the CPU, you have the better of the 64 x2 processors, the Brisbane and the 5000+ is within the recommended list of CPUs for the game. You are not going to be able to do much other than replace the CPU, Mainboard and possibly RAM as well if wanting to upgrade the processor. There are slightly faster ones available but the speed increase you will get will not justify the cost, you would be better of with perhaps a CPU,MoBo and RAM package deal.
