|||i agree with the first answer and when you start dancing maybe after about 2 years you will get them. Plus you could still be in there pointe class with out pointe shoes I actually did that for a while and it was totally fine.
if you want to get stronger ankles and calves faster you could do relevees (hold on to a table or something or chair and go up on the ball of your foot and then down again.) do this for a long time and then when you start to feel you legs burning it is working. when you feel more comfortable with doing this on two feet you can try one foot.
hope this helped! good luck!|||Pointe does not always go by age. Most dance schools won't let you start pointe until your 12. But you also have to have teacher permission. If you dance good they might let you take it next year. It also has to do with your feet development. If you don't have strong feet you can't do pointe.|||You will need to take ballet classes before you start pointe. I was in ballet when I was 5, and didn't start pointe until 8 years after that when I was 13. You need to make sure that you are pretty much as big as you are going to get, and that you're done growing. This is so you don't injure your feet. You should definately sign up for ballet, take it for a year or two, and then move on to pointe. Good luck! :)|||Yes you can definatly still start ballet. I'm 13 and on pointe, but i've been dancing it since i was three. ballet dancers don't really develop their muscles until later on in their training, and if you train hard enough, there is no reason why you can't be a ballet dancer. Good Luck!! :) xx
