In horse racing is Mdn 32 or Mdn50 comparable to any price Clm race?
I usually drop a notch, a winner in a MD50 will then run open 3year olds for $40k or $40KNW2L, unless the horse is impressive then I may give them 1 shot at the same level, or jump them up to an allowance if they were extremely impressive. Condition claiming races allow you to maintain the level you are running for. The time when you have to adjust your class level is once you are out of conditions and face open company, that's when a 1 or 2 level drop should occur. I am also fairly aggressive and it pays off, we may loose a horse here or there, but I'd rather take a win and a claim then get over confident and run it over its head for 5 races before I drop it and by then its forgotten how to win anyways.|||Maiden claimers are the bottom on the ladder. I would consider a conditioned claiming race to be the next step after winning a maiden claiming event.|||if they win at that level nicely, come back jumping and squealing , eat up, and train well...you can probably put the horse in a 30K Optional claimer or a 32K classified allowance where the horse cant get claimed... otherwise a n2L claimer anywhere from 16 to 32 is probably in line depending on what is available at that track...
